Business Development/Inside Sales Representative

We are looking for a real go-getter to join our sales team as a Business Development Representative to support lead generation, nurturing and qualification of prospects for TZA’s industry-leading ProTrack labor management software and engineering services.

  • Do you have experience in interacting with VP-level executives in the distribution, manufacturing and retail industries?
  • Demonstrate exceptional telephone skills?
  • Display the persistence needed to create initial business relationships via phone and email?
  • Have the ability to tell compelling story about the benefits of technology?

  • Generating initial relationships with prospects and uncovering potential projects
  • Interacting via phone and email with executives to identify business problems
  • Sharing client success stories over the phone to stimulate interest in TZA’s solutions
  • Qualifying prospects and identifying the decision making processes
  • Scheduling conference calls, product demonstrations and face-to-face meetings
  • Maintaining daily outbound call volume and productivity targets
  • Tracking progress using Salesforce.com CRM system
  • Participating at Chicago-area trade shows and industry events

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent telephone and presentation skills
  • 3 to 4 years sales experience in a B2B role
  • Confidence in achieving contact goals through solid “door opening” techniques
  • Experience with MS Office and with  Salesforce.com or other CRM system
