TZA Research and development team has invested in the Google Cloud Compute Engine to support the growing ProTrack community
Long Grove, IL, February 5, 2018 – For more than 10 years TZA has been focused on the R&D of ProTrack to provide the easiest to use labor management system in the supply chain industry. While ProTrack LMS has been deployed in a hosting model for years, it has now been upgraded to the Google Cloud Compute Engine.
Benefits to ProTrack in the cloud include faster implementation, low cost maintenance, scalability, and the ability to access your data anytime, anywhere. Migrating ProTrack to the cloud platform also means there’s flexibility to move from a capital expenditure to an operating expenditure- a welcoming transition for many supply chain organizations.
“This has long been a part of our evolution strategy, so it’s great that we have been able to migrate our customers so quickly and seamlessly,” said Brian Reed, Director of Technology at TZA.
ProTrack delivers your workforce data in real-time and allows everyone – from front line managers to corporate executives – instant access and visibility to workforce performance. Since labor can be up to 70% of operating costs, labor management technology is now as important as a WMS or a forklift.
When asked about additional developments, Andy Recard, President of TZA said, “2018 will continue to be a progressive year for ProTrack. Further development projects include a new state of the art BI module, facelifts to all Reporting, improving ease of use around the Schedules, and the addition of Linux Support for our customers who prefer to use the Linux ecosystem.” Evan Danner, TZA CEO chimed in, “We’ll never stop evolving. The first 30 years were just the beginning of our commitment to provide the most complete labor management software and services across the supply chain.”
