TZA offers industry-leading software, engineering, and training services to support Labor-Management Programs in distribution, manufacturing, and last-mile delivery operations.
As a Consultant / Industrial Engineer, you will work with some of the world’s most recognizable brands helping them implement TZA’s proprietary labor management software (ProTrack), identify & implement process improvements, develop standard operating procedures, and engineer fair and achievable performance metrics.
This role is a combination of working on the floor with customer’s operations teams, data analysis, and documentation of solutions and deliverables. Project timelines in this role are typically from two weeks to three months, so if you enjoy new challenges and want to quickly gain a level of experience that would normally take years (and working for many companies) then this may be the role for you!
Role Requirements:
- Desire to travel 80-90% weeks each year (typically Monday – Thursday). Proximity to a major airport is a must. (Atlanta or Chicago area preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or another related field.
- Problem-solving and analytical aptitude.
- General understanding of work measurement and techniques for developing engineered labor standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Ability to learn quickly and apply skills without daily oversight
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A spirit of pride in a job well done and the ability to convey confidence and success when interacting with customers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to manage workload and tasks to meet project timelines.
Desired Skills:
- Experience developing engineered labor standards using Time Study, MSD, MOST or MTM
- Experience with MS SQL
- Experience in both customer service and operations.
- Project Management
